Surry, NH Crop Circle of Dec. 17, 2004 Three weeks after attending the Signs of Destiny Crop Circle convention in AZ, on the evening of my 10-year wedding anniversary, and days from going to press with our first crop circle issue, a simple crop circle was formed in the milkweed on our property in Surry, NH. The night was clear and cold, and there was no snow yet on the ground and the reeds were literally shredded at their base (see the photo to the left). The circle was approximately 25-26 feet in diameter, and the reeds were all downed in one direction, towards magnetic south. The circle was formed in a marshy area near a stream and about 210 feet away from a power pole with a transformer.
Triangle Around Keene, NH Crop Circle researcher Jeff Wilson of www.cropcirclenews.com then provided us with a list of all the crop circles formed in NH since the 1800s and surprisingly, many were formed in Cheshire Country, NH, the same county in which we live. When plotted against a map (thanks to Shirley Bickford, who pointed this out), the locations form an almost perfect triangle around the city of Keene, NH (see map to the left). The numbers represent the order in which the crop circles were formed, with #4 being the most recent crop circle, formed in Surry, NH. What is significant about the map is that many psychics in the area believe Keene to be a high-energy vortex, similar to Sedona, AZ. On Orbs, Energy, and Eagles Also of note, the evening of December 18, I took a wonderful orb photo (to the left) within the crop circle. Capturing unusual orb photos within a crop circle is fairily typical, but this one is unusual because it appears to be made up of quite a number of orbs that have amassed together. This photo was taken with a disposable camera at about 8 p.m. Within about a week after the circle was formed, it began to snow, and snow remained on the ground through mid-April. In late March, as I was walking my dogs near the circle as I do every morning, a bald eagle flew overhead and then perched in a tree right next to the circle. He stayed there for at least 20 minutes, enough time for me to return home, grab binoculars, and walk back up to the circle, and watch the eagle until I got bored and returned home. I do not know if the eagle had anything to do with the circle, but it was a meaningful experience for me, as it was the first time I had ever seen a bald eagle. In mid-April, the Keene Sentinel published a story on the circle that ran on the front page. Soon after, I was contacted by a group of local psychics and sensitives who asked if they could come visit to see the circle. I agreed and a week later, they stopped by. Interestingly, they all felt an enormous amount of energy radiating from the circle to the sky, energy that immediately gave them headaches. Within about 3 minutes, they had to step away from the edge of the circle because the energy was too intense. Although they wanted to, they refused to enter the circle because the energy was too intense for them. And later that day, they all described feeling completely drained of energy. In fact, one of the girls described feeling so tired that on her way home from her visit to the circle, she said she actually had to pull over to the side of the road and take a nap! On Orbs and UFOs On April 26, 2005, I asked my next door neighbor to accompany me on another night photoshoot in the circle. He happily obliged and at 9 p.m. we headed up to the circle to take photos. With his digital camera, my neighbor took the photo to the left, with me and my dog Arlo in the background. What is interesting is that he was able to take an orb photo 5 months after the circle had been formed! Then as we were walking back to the house, we both spotted an unusual aircraft flying very low to the ground and very slowly. It was lit up with non-blinking gold lights and made not a sound. As I had been doing a lot of skywatching lately, I knew where the flight patterns were in the sky above our home, and the direction that this craft was flying was not one of them. As soon as it passed over the hills, I said goodbye to my neighbor and went back out to skywatch some more. In about 5 minutes, another craft, flying on the exact same flight pattern and looking exactly the same, again flew by. Was it a legitimate aircraft or a UFO? I have no idea, but as I am unaware of any aircraft that is completely silent and flies at such a slow rate of speed, I am inclined to believe that my neighbor and I had just witnessed our first UFO. Crop Circles and the Heart Chakra In the beginning of April, I began feeling a buzzing in my chest, particularly after 4 p.m. At times, the buzzing became so pronounced that I could literally feel with my hand my chest vibrate. Although I felt completely healthy, after a few weeks of this, I started to get concerned. With this, and looking for answers about who formed the crop circle and why, I contacted renowned psychic Clarisse Conner. During an illuminating 1.5 hour reading, Clarisse told me that she felt that the circle was made by either angels or highly evolved extraterrestrials, as a way to signal to me and to others beyond a shadow of a doubt that ETs and unusual phenomenon truly existed in this world. It was also formed as an acknowledgement of my efforts with Mysteries magazine, and as a way to jolt myself and others with an immense amount of energy as a way to open our chakras. When I asked her about the vibrating I had been feeling in my chest, she laughingly asked if I had been spending much time in the circle lately and if the vibrating had begun after visiting the circle. When I answered yes, she explained that although I could not feel physically the energies coming from the circle (unlike the others who had visited the circle recently), the energy was so strong that it had opened both my heart and crown chakras and that was why I was feeling the vibrations and uncomfortable sensations in my chest. She then explained that it was like a garden hose that had not been used all winter. That when you turn it on in the spring, all the muck that had built up over the winter while it was not being used first comes out of the hose before it runs clear. Similarly, when someone is given a huge jolt of energy that opens the heart chakra, one can experience all sorts of uncomfortable physical reactions, including heart arrhythmias, vibrations, bruising, etc. from the flushing out of all the bad feelings/karma that had built up there over the years. She then explained that these effects were only temporary and would, over the course of a few weeks or months, dissipate. Sure enough, within 2 weeks after speaking with her, the vibrations have ceased altogether. (For more info on this phenomenon, she recommended the wonderful book Joys Way by Dr. Brugh Joy, MD) Since then, I have had great success photographing orbs, which seem to appear in my photos, whether I am attempting to take them or not. I seem to think that this is one of the effects of the opening of my heart chakra, but there is no way of knowing for sure. But I now feel even more strongly that I was destined to publish Mysteries magazine and feel honored that I was given such a great gift of a simple crop circle. Keep your eyes to the skies and your heart open for who knows what adventures await us all?
